Grooming Tips

  • 1Check and clean ears weekly - Cockers are prone to ear infections due to long, heavy ears.
  • 2Lift ears while eating by using a snood or elevated bowl to keep them clean.
  • 3Card the back coat regularly to remove dead undercoat and maintain texture.
  • 4Brush feathering on legs and ears daily to prevent painful matting.
  • 5Trim hair between paw pads and around ears for hygiene and to prevent infections.
